Loan Pilot (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a California Corporation, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the non-public personal information (NPI) we process. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information provided to us by mortgage professionals (“Clients”) and their borrowers.

In our capacity as a contract loan processor, we receive and process information required to facilitate mortgage transactions, including:

  • Identifiers: Name, address, Social Security number, and driver’s license information.

  • Financial Information: Income details, tax returns, bank statements, and credit history.

  • Employment Information: Employment history and verification.

 

How We Use Information

We use the information provided solely to perform loan processing services on behalf of our Clients. This includes:

  • Preparing and organizing loan application packages.

  • Communicating with lenders, escrow, and title companies to satisfy loan conditions.

  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance within the loan file.

 

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information. We disclose NPI only to authorized third parties involved in the specific mortgage transaction (e.g., the originating lender, underwriters, and title companies) or as required by law.

 

Data Security

We implement industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect NPI. This includes:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

  • Access Control: Only authorized employees of Loan Pilot have access to borrower files.

  • Monitoring: Regular security reviews to protect against unauthorized access or data breaches.

 

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt-out of the sale of personal information. Because Loan Pilot acts as a Service Provider to licensed mortgage entities, requests for data access or deletion should primarily be directed to the originating Loan Officer or Brokerage.
